Synergy Cross Dock handles freight at the interval between the inbound trailer bumping the dock and the outbound trailer closing and dispatching. During this time the exact location of every shipment is known, and every transaction involving the shipment is recorded along with the circumstances of the transaction.

This detailed recording of freight handling and exceptions gives you an unprecedented control over your shipments. As a result, a complete picture can be assembled of the shipment’s journey, including every hand that touched it and all transactions that occurred.

Cross Dock can virtually eliminate misloads, reduce OS&D incidents, and fines caused by overloading and HazMat violations. In addition, the automatic reweigh process can increase revenue, and an interface to popular forklift scales streamlines the process.

The system can be installed with a database server at each terminal, or can be used over a WAN with thin clients talking to a centralized server.

Synergy Cross Dock was installed at a 230 door terminal using touch screen computers. Prior to installation the customer was running their city P&D operations from a separate adjacent terminal. Here are just some of the benefits after implementation:
