Synergy Pickup & Delivery Study
A Pickup & Delivery Study serves three purposes:
1. Determines potential savings that could be accomplished using Synergy Dispatch
2. Designs static routes based upon statistical averages and probability using the carrier's past freight bill history.
3. Performs a route study on the prior day's business to help local management improve their decisions on future days.
The computer model analyzes such factors as drive time, stop time and handling allowance standards, and customer-specific issues including time factors and volume freight. The outcome of this study will help you identify areas of your current routing system that can be improved to provide cost and labor savings.
Synergistics typically sees savings ranging from 5-25% of total P&D costs. In addition, there is usually an associated reduction of 3-5% of dock costs.
