Synergy Dispatch® to Be Offered in Application Service Provider Version
Synergy Dispatch®, a product of Synergistic Systems, will now be offered in an Application Service Provider Edition. This will allow a carrier with less than 150 power units to enjoy the savings of Synergy Dispatch without the initial capital outlay.
The ASP Edition will feature all of the current capabilities of Synergy Dispatch, including call taking, inbound/outbound planning, computerized mapping and route optimization. Mobile data terminals can be included in the monthly fee. The carrier needs to have a fast internet connection (DSL, cable, or T1) at their location. Pricing is based on the number of power units and mobile data options selected.
Synergy Dispatch is an innovative system designed to improve the productivity and cost-effectiveness of pickup & delivery operations. Using computerized mapping, static or dynamic routing and mobile data terminals (MDTs), Synergy Dispatch can save from 725% of total P&D costs. Synergy Dispatch is currently installed at some of the largest LTL carriers in North America.

Synergy Yard Management Upgraded with Drag & Drop Trailer Moves
Synergy Yard Management, a product of Synergistic Systems, has recently been upgraded with drag & drop trailer moves and enhanced yard detail maps. A trailer move can now be dispatched by dragging and dropping the trailer icon and selecting a hostler (yard tractor) to assign to the job. In addition, yard spaces can be placed at any angle on the maps to more closely match the physical layout.
The system, currently in production at major auto manufacturing facilities in North America, combines gate management with optional RFID readers, yard inventory control, RF dispatching of hostler moves, and interactive yard maps. Trailer owners can be notified of empties via email or fax, eliminating detention charges. Trailer contents can be tracked for manufacturing sites, and trailer moves can be assigned cost centers to split accountability among vendors.
Synergy Yard Management can greatly improve yard efficiencies, reducing the need for yard tractors and eliminating manual yard inventories and long searches through the yard for a specific trailer. The elimination of detention charges can provide a very fast return on investment, not even taking into account the other savings accrued through the use of the system.
